The Heather Lakes Pickers, a group of residents of Heather Lakes in Little River, have been participating in the Adopt-a-Highway program since 2000-----------now in our 11th year!!
Heather Lakes encourages other communities and groups, particularly in Little River, to become involved in keeping our highways and byways clear of litter.
The Community Coalition of Little River (CCLR) joined the program in 2008. They clean up Rt. 17 from Baker St. to Hwy. 90 with the help of the Little River Lions!
The program is entirely a volunteer, community effort!
Below is a slide show of the efforts over the years!
